Welcome to the 3D Virtual Tour Website Help Page. Before you start using the 3D Virtual Tour Website, you may want to take some time to get aquainted with the 3D Tour Website Interface. The following help screens provide a detailed explaination of each feature and menu item found the 3D Virtual Tour site. At any time you can skip this tutorial by clicking the 3D TOUR button on the left menu. Note - You can return to this tutorial at any time by clicking 3D TOUR HELP.



Movie Buttons & G.I.S. Map Button/Quadrant Navigation/Active Quadrant
1) Select a button to load the movie you wish to view i.e. South to North (or West to East if available). Each movie demonstrates a "virtual fly-by" along the active quadrant's power line. Clicking G.I.S. Map will allow you to view detailed information about the active quadrant via the Geography Information System Website (G.I.S.).

The arrows control the navigation of the whole project map via the window viewing area (see 7 below). The square button in the center of the arrows centers the active quadrant in the window viewing area.
3) This image shows the current active quadrant selected. As you roll over the movie and map buttons, images from each catagory are also shown here.


Movie Window/Navigation
4) Use this bar to move to a specific part of the "fly-by" movie. By default, the movie will play from start to finish. Use the arrow buttons here to control movie playback.
5) This is the 3D movie window.
6) The pulsing dot in this minature window represents your current position in the 3D movie of the selected quadrant you are watching.


Project Map Window View and Clickable Quadrants
7) At the begining of the tour, your active quadrant is the Amado quadrant. You can click on any other squares (quadrants) that are visible in this window to view other quadrant movies and information. Use the Quadrant Navigation arrows (see 2 above) to move the entire project map within the viewing window so you may select quadrants which are not visible.
