Fifty years after Buddy Holly recorded
That’ll Be The Day,
Buddy’s bandmates reunited at the historic Petty Studios
in Clovis, New Mexico to record The
New Clovis Sessions. These are
the first recordings since the Petty Studios were closed shortly
after Holly’s tragic death. They capture the magic of
the Holly’s hit songs of the late 50's.
The New Clovis Sessions are a tribute to Buddy Holly, the
Crickets, and the music of their era. These recordings include
many of Holly's earliest songs and other rockabilly, pop and
early rock and roll standards.
Several of Holly's Bandmates contributed
to these recordings - Tommy Allsup, Larry Welborn, Jack
Neal, David Bigham, and Gary & Ramona Tollett. They
were joined by John Mueller and the fantastic Winter Dance
Party Band. Also featured is blues piano player Daryl Davis,
who plays for Chuck Berry. A fantastic collection.

Stay
All Night - Buddy Holly's Country Roots
is the first musical account of Buddy Holly's Country Roots,
performed Buddy Holly’s Bandmates including; Tommy Allsup,
Carl Bunch, Larry Welborn and Holly’s earliest musical
partner Jack Neal. They are joined by that swinging big band
from down the road in Turkey, Texas - Bob Will's Texas Playboys.
Adding to the account are Buddy's brothers and mentors, Larry
and Travis Holley, and contemporaries Al Perkins and Billy
Grammar.
These new recordings are
a superb collection of vintage country that influenced Holly
and his music. Featuring two previously unreleased Holly recordings,
